Semester Project
This project was an opportunity to draw upon what we have learned in class and incorporate that with our interests and creativity.
I chose to take my newly learned knowledge of feminism issues and relate this to what I am studying at MSU, and my future career. I am studying Child Development with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. At first I was torn with how I could relate feminist issues to something that relates to my every day life, but all it took was personal experience to open my eyes. In all of my required courses for my major, there is not a single male student!! I was curious if this was the case across other education courses, and then if this female dominance continued to take place once actually teaching.
